      A great challenge for hardworkers

      Pros

      Great place to take on heaps of responsibility and make a name for yourself. The best advice I received during my 1 on 1 meetings was to stop asking for permission all the time. The company is growing really fast and so there is lots of room to grow. The vision of making space accessible is very motivating. As the company moves forward into production the pay and other benefits are increasing to a market rate. If you consider yourself a hard worker who can innovate on the fly - this is the place to be.

      Cons

      Standard growing pains for a startup. Everyone is growing and learning at different rates and this can create some chaos. For those who do not have strategies to handle stress, it can be overwhelming

      Pros

      Good group of people - surprising though, after how staff are treated.

      Cons

      I was told I wasn’t allowed to learn on the job. I was told not to ask questions. No internal promotions. No management and communication is terrible. I was finding out information through our Facebook page instead of being told directly. So many secrets and lies. I was told by a senior manager that they lie to the media and to other management staff, including the CEO. VERY Sneaky ways to fire people. More legal compensation packages that I can count. Poor pay and minimal pay rises. I was told you’re expected to work 70+ hours a week to be considered for a pay rise and shares. Shares are promised but you’ll never see them. As with many other false promises.

      A fun challenge

      Pros

      A great team doing exciting things. Everyone is driven to achieve big things and everyone is a problem-solver. Still small enough that your ideas can be heard at an executive level. A social team that gets together lots out of work. The work is hard and challenging, but rewarding - not a place to work if you just want to coast! Free dinners if you're working late!

      Cons

      Hours can be long, but ultimately worth it.
