I cried every night after work once my month of training finished. It was suggested that I follow what other successful bankers did, and that was to lie. I only lasted five/six weeks on the floor before I left. Worked 50-60 hr weeks and encouraged to arrive early, stay late, and work weekends. Micro managed by my boss, I know he meant well but we reviewed every call I made, which made for very long days. In my last week I rode the elevator down to leave and had a strung out woman rude with me I never saw before, which was entirely possible due to all the people on my floor let alone in the building. She asked if I did drugs. I said no. She asked if I wanted to. I said no. She asked if I was an alcoholic yet. I said no. She told me to give it time. I had a few great days when I met my fail quota, but overall this experience left me with nightmares. I hope it's better now.
