Pros

Very trusting environment where team members are given the freedom to make their path to success. Immense focus on teamwork and communication. Constant commitment to continuous improvement and team members are given the empowerment to drive change and do things the right way. Corporate bureaucracy is not a part of the Quicken Loans way. The company has a clear vision which is regularly conveyed to the entire organization.

Cons

The independent nature of the organization may or may not be for everyone. People who are more apt to thrive in a "by the script" atmosphere may feel overwhelmed at times. Compensation is near the lower end of the spectrum in contrast to similar jobs in other organizations.

Pros

There is a chance to make very good money. However, this WILL NOT occur until you have been there for a few years and are promoted to Executive. Otherwise, the pay is mediocre at best

Cons

Cult following, very long hours, micro managed, 12 hour work days, plus weekends. AND if you want to succeed and are willing to work even longer, you get put on discipline letter if you work too much because then the pay is not even equal to minimum wage. Think about that, if you work over 60 hours a week as a newer banker, the pay is not even equivalent to the federal minimum wage which is why you get in trouble because the company gets in trouble. Sweat shop all the way
