Great fast-paced environment and could be the best opportunity for a professional sales career to begin or be revived. The perks are great and the environment is fun and energy filled. Lots of competition to keep you motivated. Education and skills provided are very in depth and management genuinely wants to do all in their power to see you succeed.
Cons
The hours are long (11-12 hours) and this is the norm for the first 6-12 months. You can be left in the dark about imperative information regarding your progress if you director is not able to balance his team efforts or is greedy and is only supportive of those who are on top at the moment. No leniency regarding changes/ commitments in your life that may skew your production. The business itself can be very unstable and cut throat. And there is no opportunity for advancement very simply put once a mortgage banker always a mortgage banker unless you go the route of the director. Only opportunities outside of this are in MI, which is not helpful for those in the AZ or OH locations.
