      Pros

      There are many seasoned professionals who know what they are doing and have good visions for their products. High accountability among the teams and focused on improvement. Most have a good work ethic, but many are approaching burnout from stripping away resources.

      Cons

      Upper management is NOT transparent, and refuses to have skip-level conversations. IBM-GROWN upper management brought over their bias and inexperience with market analysis and true product management. As a result, features are slammed into products without proper analysis and prioritization. When products fail to deliver on their promises, the product team is scapegoated.

      No vision. No raises. Different strategy every year. IBM says jump and Rocket says, how high?

      Pros

      Medium-sized company that is growing. Many highly skilled and knowledgeable employees willing to share that knowledge. Excellent health benefits.

      Cons

      Formerly nimble, flat structure now adding more and more layers of management. Non-technical people now control much of the company. Rarely promote from within. Culture of secrecy about future plans. Successful company not willing to spread the wealth. Some employees thrive, while others go for years without raises.
