Benefits are acceptable, pay is reasonable, the technical and first level management staff tend to be very good, and decent human beings.

Cons

Mainframes? Really? Is that where you want to be? Noisy, open plan office. Dreadful traffic if you commute anytime close to typical rush hours.

Exposure to new technology. Managers tend to ignore you unless they are feeling pressured.

Cons

1. Company views you as a disposable commodity experience and skills are not valued. 2. Managers will throw you under the bus if it will benefit their career or improve their bonuses. 3. The company has been trying to move development to third world countries to save money case in point in 2018 they terminated almost every employees over 65.
