Laid-back environment. Decent pay and benefit

Cons

This company need to pay close attention its overseas office. The office in UK work really really slow. Pay expedited fee for assembling board that did not show up for weeks. uses severely outdated test equipment. & software. I spent several years in this company in hardware and ended-up taking over the firmware part of the design because the person in UK that supposed was not able to deliver it. No clear product roadmap. No obsolescence plan or dealing with obsolete components.

People are the best. The most kind and technically competent people I have ever met. A rarity these days.

Cons

Working in a project environment with tight deadlines can take a toll. You can be moved into an area where you don't have enough expertise.
