Pros

Great range of products, everyone is encouraged to contribute and be an active team member. Moving to other divisions is also possible.

Cons

Getting to corporate and this having impact on staff motivation. Spend too much time on unrelated stuff like paperwork and box ticking before you can actually do the damn job. No training , everything is on the job training.

Pros

Outstanding benefits package. Year end bonuses depend on a number of global factors. I have rec'd bonuses ranging from $1500 to $6700. Work above and beyond the call of duty is recognized and rewarded. They promote from within. Management super-flexible (may be different if you are a production employee) with work hours. This is the first job I have ever had where I was not actively seeking other employment. I will retire here. I have been here 8yrs.

Cons

None that I can think of! I am VERY happy here!

Pros

Good work environment with management that cares about work-life balance. Co-ops are treated with respect and given autonomy to work on meaningful tasks.

Cons

Working with legacy software is a critical skill for any developer, but if you're young and just starting out, it's probably in your best interest to work somewhere with a more up-to-date stack. There's understandable historical reasons for a long-running project to still be using Clearcase for version control, but no compelling reason for you to start your career doing so.
