Pros
Most senior positions are reserved for foreigners with preference for white people or Indians. If you are an employment pass holder, it is great as the company willingly pays a good all encompassing expat package. There is a re-org every two years on average, hence if you are ambitious and aggressive, there are opportunities to advance your career easily.
Cons
Little respect and regards for local employees. Career opportunities for local employees are non-existence since mid to senior positions are mainly reserved for expats. Highly performance driven, if the boss do not think you are performing then you are gone the next quarter. Preference to employ from external than to fill open positions internally.
