      They didn't live up to hiring promises. Fortunately, I found a better job!

      Pros

      Good for new college graduate or new career employee. You can become "one of them" . They treat customers well.

      Cons

      Growth is strangled by entrenched "good old boy" Rockwell culture. Bosses tend to gain their positions by seniority, not by competence. If you do leave Rockwell, expect to be treated as a traitor, even by HR, who neglect their professional code. Pre-2010 employees have pensions but new employees don't get pensions and benefits as older employees.

      Interesting work but difficult to move within the company.

      Pros

      RA provides good professional development with interesting and challenging work opportunities. RA provides good compensation and treats employees fairly.

      Cons

      There is a fair amount of red tape. While RA boasts the ability to move around within the company, employees are typically too overloaded to learn skills to move withing the company.
