Pros

It was a very clean and safe place to work. The pay was good.

Cons

The work was not consistence. In winter there was usually couple months where it was slow and you were standing around doing nothing, but during the summer months you could expect to be working 60 hours a week. Another big issue, was that management constantly changed and this made it hard to get much done with every single new person coming in with their big new ideas they wanted to try. The company also used the plant to try and debug all their new products. This part was actually fun, but the issue was that they expected the pant to maintain their production levels while fixing massive engineering issues. It just was not possible. The uppers were not ever happy... The great people that worked there seemed to pull off production quotas even with everything against them, but management always seem to yell or complain it was not enough. It is so bad that in the 3 years I have seen many happy go lucky people join and with in couple months they were angry depressed people. It was very sad.

Pros

There are very few Pros, the only pro I can think of is that you can get as many hours as you want.

Cons

Management is awful, there are very few raises, no room for advancement, not a organized company at all.

Pros

Corporation with a long hstory.

Cons

Corporation with a long history and outdated practices. Culture of inclusion is talked about at Rockwell Automation. Salaries for employees with the same job titles and doing the same work vary widelly. Salaries are too often based on personalities versus performance. Employees who accept new roles with additional responsibilties should be compensated when the new responsiblities begin. Waiting two fiscal quarters for the title change and the compensaton is unacceptable.
