Pros

Several tenured staff are still employed. Direct care staff team is one of the best collectively in the upstate. Very caring and compassionate - work well as a team - put needs of residents first.

Cons

New management has irradiated any existing staff with ties and/or relationships with former management team, regardless of the quality these staff members were. Less focus on the resident - more focus on cutting corners everywhere to make money. Eliminating positions in place for 20+ years so more revenue can be made to support upper level salaries.

Pros

The staff is supportive and try very hard to provide/complete the appropriate care. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. Management tries to be effective. The kitchen is the most effectively managed part of the facility.

Cons

There is not enough training or staff to complete the continually growing list of job duties. It seems to be an accident waiting to happen.
