Pros
Good benefit plans and employer match on retirement contributions. Execs are incredibly talented and intelligent and are taking the company in a positive direction.
Cons
Blatant favoritism; no structure to performance/development opportunities. Skill set has very little bearing on comp…pretty much have to be part of the boys club if you want equity or large pay bumps. No rhyme or reason to how it’s allocated. The top execs are so insulated by mediocre middle-managers that they have no idea who’s actually doing the work. The corruption lies within the director-level population.
