Pros

Tons of opportunities for formal training, friendly and cooperative associates, generally humane partners (especially in small/mid-size offices), complex and newsworthy deals and cases, interesting clients (particularly in life sciences industry), good firm culture, attorneys have genuine commitment to avoiding unnecessary impositions on weekends/vacations (but unfortunately this is not always possible with the sheer volume of work and client demands)

Cons

Demanding hours (but this is to be expected at any big firm), some deterioration in firm culture and associate-partner relations since pandemic (but I suspect this is happening everywhere)
