      Pros

      Small town values from co-workers, good benefits, biggest employer in the community, international travel, competitive wage for the area, involved with local community.

      Cons

      Shuffled a bad manager from BSA to OCC. The manager ran out all good and long time workers from Team Leaders, Senior Technicians, to Technicians that has been with company for over ten years. By the time the company realized the severity of the situation, it was too late; all the experience and good workers had already left.

      Pros

      I love (most of) the people at Roquette. The Geneva site is beautiful and set up well for customer collaboration.

      Cons

      Major confusion about direction, strategy, and the future of manufacturing. Too much energy spent on assigning blame, too little on finding a better way to do things. The Keokuk site is ancient and years of deferred maintenance have caught up.

      Pros

      Company is investing money into an old plant site.

      Cons

      Management does not trust employees. Technical decisions mostly controlled by French. Attempts to perform root-cause problems usually turn into witch hunts and finger pointing. Workers are expected to work with dangerous equipment and in dangerous environments Management does not recognize personal efforts by employees who put forth extra effort to achieve company goals. Management is rude to employees who attempt to bring task details/problems etc. to their attention. Vocationally skilled salaried employees are not compensated for extra effort.
