Pros

-Ross is a great company to work. As an assistant buyer or Buyer you don't really have to be in the office all the time. You get to go comp shopping and to vendor meetings which is great, to change things up along the week. -They move its ABs (Assitant Buyers) around departments, so you get a good well round experince before becomeing a Buyer. -Good benefits -Monday's theres breakfast served, bagels and fruit. -Security- they take it very seriously, to cover the company and its employees. -Good vacation time compared to other US companies.

Cons

-People at the office are nice, but I did notice there's a little bit of talking and criticizing other employees. I guess that's normal everywhere. -HR wasn't really clear since the beginning, they wouldn't give me an estimate on how much time I was supposed to stay as temp. The nice thing is that they gave 3 weeks notice, which is really good timing for you to start looking for other opportunities. -The only way I can describe the office interiors is sad, very few offices get a window. - As a temp, your parking is not covered, the ready to assign $150 dlls a month. - Most people dress super casual.. Wait, I guess it goes for the LA offices.

Pros

Earning opportunity is great. A person willing to earn finds lots of opportunity to earn. The manager are very efficient and impartial. Respect and safety of employees were always concern for the company. Lots of scope to hone skills in all the departments if one is willing. Leaders always explains thoroughly whenever asked to help.

Cons

Almost none as much as I can remember. The thefts were alarming. Sometimes threatening because impact of theft on company profit may end in loss of hours and even jobs for associates.
