Relaxed environment, friendly staff, good 401k benefits

Cons

Essentially no chance at growth here, especially as an engineer. Salaries are way low compared to industry/location standards. No real avenues for learning and very repetitive work. Awful open concept work space attempt, tiny bathroom and break room.

There is job security here. If you just want a brainless 9-5 job, this is a great place for you. Literally any moron can get a job here, which I suppose is a good thing for people desperate for a job.

Cons

If you want to be challenged and work for a reputable company, this is definitely not the place for you. People at the top who have been here for many years have the luxury of security and run the place like dictators and hire people based on nepotism. There is absolutely no flexibility. The few smart and intellectually curious engineers leave when they realize how much better they can have it at a better company. Pay is extremely low (but what else do you expect in Rochester).
