Pros

Great video games, redemption prizes, karaoke, associates.

Cons

Total disconnect from other locations. Stores employees are looked down upon from HQ. No recognition for doing well, no bonus structure in place. No incentives for retention. Non competitive wages. No corporate culture or core values. No acknowledgement of diversity and inclusion. No formal written review for annual evaluation or goal setting. DM made promises but failed to deliver on those promises. DM always reeks of alcohol, disappears for hours. No accountability for DMs. No open door policy to air grievances. The company thinks everyone is stealing from them. Newer locations being opened in bad neighborhoods and failing malls. Antiquated back office operations.

Pros

Free small soda, discount on food (15%), 3 free games of bowling per week (have to have worked at least one shift that same week).

Cons

Can’t give discounts to anyone, never eat the chicken salad (almost everyone who worked there warned me about this), having to remember a bunch of different codes (security door to brake room and employee clock in device), definitely disorganized at times and not permitted to play the claw/prize machines at all wether currently employed or no longer employed at all and any locations (can’t even stand near them unless you work in arcade). A lot of coworkers told me during my 2nd week of employment about how they were trying to look for another job else where. It was for different reasons for most of them but mainly had to do with wanting pay increase, better hours/ schedules, and management was implied not being the greatest (at least at my location).

Thank you for your detailed review! We are glad that you were able to enjoy some of our perks. We understand that things can get confusing at time with all the codes you have to memorize, but security for our employees our top priority!
