Pros
Sometimes you get discounts, if your manager is feeling extra nice. And I made a few awesome friendships and felt like I was part of a big family. With the right manager, this could probably be an awesome job that I never would have left.
Cons
You don't even always get discounts, depending on the store. At my store there was a point in time where we didn't even get free soda. The manager could always find a way to make you feel like complete trash. For example, I went to my manager to confide in her about being continuously sexually harassed by a fellow coworker. I was told that it was my fault I was being sexually harassed and the coworker suffered no consequences whatsoever. This manager won manager of the year that year. You also get very, very little hours.
