Pros

Flexible Schedule (depending on your employer, all stores are franchised [owned by different people]) Free individual meal (depending on owner's rules/some don't allow free food)

Cons

Minimum wage Usually required to work holidays w/ no holiday pay No benefits - even for full time Customers that expect more of you because of the prices (they think your payed more than you are so you'll often be treated rudely over minor things you often have no control over) No room for growth Sleazy business practices

Pros

Flexible hours, Good tip money, easy work

Cons

Crappy Management, no room for advancement or pay increase, worst two bosses I have ever had. They were unprofessional and had no respect for their employees and customers.

Pros

The company has a simple vision that makes delivering on it quite easy. They produce great pizzas, if slightly above the average cost for similar products and are committed to making the best pizzas possible. They demand a level of service above that of the typical national chain and that makes working or dining there more fun and satisfying than say, Pizza Hut. Their training regimen is excellent and I felt I was always learning new things even though I had thirteen years plus management experience in another company. They were demanding, but it was never mean or harsh.

Cons

The biggest drawback was the hiring of an area manager that, in the end, proved to be unreliable, flaky and likely a contributing factor to the demise of our region's existence. Perhaps the biggest downside was being told by the CEO himself in my restaurant that he was committed to our area's continued operation then, only seven months later, getting frantic phone calls at eight a.m. on my day off that the store was locked, closed, and a note on the door saying that RTP had discontinued business in our area. Thanks guys, dick move....
