Pros

Somewhat independent, as I was delivering pizzas. Made so-so tips. It worked for me. I liked my fellow employees and most of my supervisors.

Cons

It was difficult to get full-time work. Sometimes stoner high school kids would get hired who didn't really care about anything. It made more work for the rest of us.

Pros

Free pizza. Lots of free pizza if you're smart about it.

Cons

Good luck trying to get more than 20 hours a week here. Most definitely a job well suited to someone in high school or who doesn't need to actually support themselves. I've worked at three different locations and it is a franchise, so you're going to get different management and people everywhere you go. I've had one pretty good manager, one lazy manager, and one manager who was a stingy jerk and used to come out of his office just to yell at everyone in the kitchen in front of customers. Oh and after about the 1700th time that I had some entitled doofus ask my why the pizza costs so much I learned to just say "sorry, sir or ma'am, I don't set the prices" - it's like people don't realize this isn't Papa John's or Dominoes, at least it's fresh and the dough and sauce are made daily. Oh and if there's a party and you're closing, good luck scraping the cheese and crust that kids smashed into the carpet out. Because people take their screaming, running brats here so they can pay $20 for a cheese pizza.

Pros

They let you keep all tips received from delivering pizzas, but this may differ store to store. Since it is a franchise, each store will differ.

Cons

Phone shops three times a month to ensure individuals are giving off the proper phone schpeal. The corporate office acts its employees to do many unnecessary acts. Corporate will dock your store if it does not apply to all of its rules: having a door greeter, wearing name tags, and tucking your shirt into your jeans (this one just looked ridiculous, especially if you were wearing shorts)
