Worst Job I Ever Had

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Benefits are good, absolutely no requirement/obligation to go into the office. Most days not a single person is there.

Cons

In nearly three years I worked with seven direct supervisors and the only commendable one retired. Three were fired, two were demoted, and the last is openly known in the industry to be unstable (crying on a Site walk, emailing regularly between 1-4AM, discouraging lunch breaks). There were four office managers in a roughly four year period. Hours are awful, there is no training provided, and it is not at all uncommon for supervisors with 30+ years of experience to raise their voices at entry level employees. No overtime is available despite average fifty plus hour work weeks. No transparency from management since the 2022 Interim OM left. Different offices all seem to provide different experiences but I recommend avoiding the Somerset New Jersey office.

Zero work-life balance

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Decent compensation and benefits. Quarterly bonuses.

Cons

Travel is around 50-80% depending on the season. Small budget for food and such when traveling. Expected to travel even if personal schedule does not allow. Expected to put life on hold for work and travel often. Zero work-life balance. Little to no career development for individuals, there is a program but no one utilizes or follows it. Communication on performance is very little to none. Work deadlines and utilization take priority. Employees, especially at the staff level, are looked at as a number to get work done more than actual individual human beings. Staff employees are often asked to work overtime outside in the field with zero consideration of the toll on mental and physical health. Employees are often thrown into a tasks or jobs with zero instruction or explanation.
