Pros
The company is privately owned and treats its employees like people, not like employee numbers. (Frankly, I can't even recall what my employee number happens to be.) Roux has a reputation of hiring the best, so expect the work to be both challenging and rewarding. The company does reward hard work with spot and annual bonuses and good salaries. I've worked for good and bad companies -- this is a good one. The firm takes training, utilization, and safety very seriously. In my opinion, it's a very good company for starting a career in environmental services.
Cons
Long days and commuting to and from sites can be tough, especially for those not yet at project manager level. You have to put in your time. Probably no different than at other similar firms.
