Pros

Royal Ambulance genuinely prioritizes serving the community, which makes the work meaningful and fulfilling. The leadership team is approachable, transparent, and focused on employee growth and well-being. Teamwork and camaraderie are strong across departments—people genuinely care about each other and the mission. There’s a strong emphasis on professional development, with regular training, mentorship programs, and leadership pathways. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make an impact, especially in HR, where the focus is on enhancing employee experience + operational excellence. Royal’s values of being Driven, Engaging, Empathetic, and Adaptable are NOT just words on a wall—they shape people's decisions and interactions every day.

Cons

Based on my own experience, none I can think of.

Pros

Flexible scheduling and management is friendly. There is plenty of OT if you need it.

Cons

Inconsistent call volume, other employees don't always clean or restock ambulances. Pretty much all IFT.
