Pros

- pay is fine - teammates were generally supportive & saw my potential

Cons

THE #1 RUDEST user base I've ever had the displeasure of working for. These people will treat you as if you're the scum on the bottom of their shoes. Everything is "fix it NOW" or the inability to understand the slightest inconvenience. Very pompous silver spoon crowd. Grow up and act like adults people. The racist/MAGA vibes can be hard to miss also. Not everyone, but definitely the majority acted like spoiled children.

Pros

This is a growing company, and the CEO is transparent and has monthly meetings to keep everyone informed. He even hosts Q&As at the end of the sessions. You have flexibility of working remote or going into the office when you choose to. It is also great that Ryan gives back to the community once a year, and team members get together for team building and at the same time giving back to their local community.

Cons

As it says on Ryan's own website "Ryan employees are given the freedom to do their best work in the way they work best. With a clear understanding of expectations and accountabilities, employees have ownership of their time and flexibility to meet the demands of their professional and personal lives". However, this is not the case at all. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential for personal well-being and job satisfaction. This company or at least the property tax department does not provide adequate support for work-life balance. Many employees feel burnout. This is a HIGH stress environment, and have caused many of the team members mental and physical health issues, and strained relationships with family and friends. You are provided with unlimited PTO but its likely you will never take PTO the only guarantied days you will take off are the 12 paid holidays, but even still, you will come back to work the next day and will be drowning with work.
