Pros

If you are driven, want to work with others that are very bright and motivated and want a successful career, then this is the place for you. At Ryan, the focus is being the best we can at what we do and providing the best service for our clients. This requires hard work, but the hard work pays off. You are recognized for what you do at Ryan, and this includes compensation-wise and in terms of promotions. The icing on the cake is that I feel like I can have the best of both worlds – work towards a high-powered, successful career while also having the flexibility to work remotely when needed thanks to MyRyan.

Cons

There are a number of administrative obligations that can get tedious, but Management has been working hard to work on these.

Pros

Joining Ryan over 6 years ago was one of the best decisions I have ever made. (1) Ryan has very competitive compensation packages and benefits to ensure we hire the best of the best out there. The members of the team I am on are stellar. (2) The flexibility allowed at Ryan to achieve a successful work/life balance is unmatched--the ability to choose my own hours and work from home has been a lifesaver for me and my family. (3) It is refreshing to be in a company where upper management stresses the importance of transparency. The CEO himself speaks to the entire company on at least a monthly basis. He also holds regional Town Halls periodically and invites every level of employee to speak their minds--whether with complaints or praise. I am surrounded by the best minds in tax and in the best environment, while being compensated very nicely. What more could one ask for?

Cons

I think the office thermostat was installed for aesthetics rather than function. It doesn't seem to matter which way I turn the device--I'm always hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. This is a very minor complaint, however, because when I'm uncomfortable, I can leave and work wherever I want.
