Pros

Coworkers are decent for the most part, can have some flexibilty depending on curcumstances.

Cons

Spent 5+ years at RT, started at the bottomas an underwriting assistant and then finished as an adsociate underwriter. It was a long and painful march, seemed like I was there twice as long. I came in at the time when the company I was hired for was being intergrated into RT and things were okay. Withing a few years it would be a complete intergration with corporate RT and things got really bad. Lost major markets, no flexibility from management, incompetant managers, stagnant pay for increased workload. I even had a $10k+ bonus withehld from me.

Pros

Really good benefits, very little turnover. It's a great place for people who are looking for a long-term career. Management varies depending on the team you're on, but it's a great job and has great pay especially considering how it's a rather entry-level position. If you're a bit lost with what you want to do in life, this might be a great fit for you. People here are also very nice and want you to succeed.

Cons

While the work isn't necessarily super difficult, the high volume can mean most weeks are overtime, Not a great place for those looking for flexible hours, and the beginning/ends of each month are the busiest times. Men and women face very different experiences working here; the bro culture is still quite dominant here and there is very little (if any) diversity.
