      Great people, antiquated systems & processes, poor commission structure

      Pros

      Great people and a great product to sell. Good work/life balance. Companies truly benefit from the full service lease model as it gives them a predictable cost and takes the headache of truck maintenance off their hands, letting Ryder do it for them.

      Cons

      No training for new employees. Low commissions. Confusing commission structure (even seasoned employees don't understand it). Antiquated software and systems. Billing errors left and right. Quality of maintenance is dependent on the local Ryder shop closest to the customer. No company car (you use your own car and expense mileage). Heath and Dental insurance are mid-low (especially dental).

      Great opportunity to make a difference in clients business when everything works the way it’s supposed to.

      Cons

      Lack of communication and everything gets pushed back to the sales people.

      Pros

      The people are great and many employees have worked for Ryder for 10-30 years. Company culture is good and so is the product.

      Cons

      Pay could be better and they are slowly upgrading some antiquated internal software to more cloud-based systems. There is no real new hire training/onboarding program and it's hard to get things done efficiently.
