      HR is Turning Around S&ME for the Better

      Pros

      The HR team has done a fantastic job with redeveloping worker compensation to benefit the worker. The company does strive to provide a work-life balance; however, it's still project-dependent. Additionally, the ESOP stock has had excellent gains over the past couple of years, and the company is on pace for another positive year.

      Cons

      They worry too much during the slow periods and tend to focus on numbers. During these months, everyone is viewed as a number, particularly the direct/billable hour metric.

      Many great people. Decent pay.

      Cons

      Toxic workplace. Management refused to do anything about toxic individuals. Many changes in upper management at the time. Poor leadership. Unrewarding.

      Good place and even better people to work with

      Pros

      Absolutely loved the people I worked with special shout-out to Evelyn, Dave, Ron, Patrick, Will, Gus and Spencer. Great place to start your career. They teach you a lot about the industry and take time out of their day to make sure you're comfortable in what you are doing. In my time with them I learned exponentially more at S&ME than in school. Great team!! Absolutely recommend working with S&ME.
