The vacation time was exceptional. The work from home policy was acceptable. The casual environment was exceptional.
Cons
The SMT lacks a vision. Unfocused President: The president spends a majority of his time flying around the globe attempting to apologize for bad code rather than making his vast army of Vice Presidents do their jobs. In his efforts to keep current clients happy he is unable to create a vision for the company. He is unable to spend the time to determine how to plan to get the current companies off of their present platform on to a new platform. The customer that complains the loudest gets a production fix rather than made to upgrade. The production fix takes developers off of forward development - therefore - the investment in the new product is not being balanced. The Business Units and their leaders do not communicate with each other.
