The work isn't hard, but the environment is. The company is poorly run, from the CEO to their HR department. I have never worked for a company where HR virtually runs the company. If you don't go along with one of her many conniving plans, you are in her cross hairs and she will make it impossible for you to do your job while you're handling on her the unnecessary dramas she has created. The CEO puts on a good show by walking around and being friendly with the staff, but he is as conniving as his employees behind closed doors. Talented, good employees are driven out because they challenge the status quo.
The company is based out of the same building as one of their partners, which means they are constantly in your face demanding attention.....it's true that the squeaky wheel gets the attention.
They talk a good talk about promoting from within and being equal opportunists, but behind closed doors they are looking for any way to bring in their "buddies" so it's more of the same ol' same ol' and less trying to actually succeed.
