The only pro was working virtually during a pandemic

Burnt us out and gave us no training. Hired incompetent people to supervise and then gave them too many people to supervise.

Pros

Working with the students and being able to be part of their journey as they improve on their math skills and other academic qualities was extremely rewarding.

Cons

You're pretty much being paid poverty rates in the stipend. If you don't have a savings to dip into, it'll be a rough year. That's probably why the target demographic for Fellows are fresh college grads looking for something to do between as a gap year before a career or post-grade.

Only pro is the relationships you build with students and maybe some co-workers.

Cons

Avoid at all costs, complete waste of time. Saga suffers from severe white savior complex and micromanagement.
