      You will have many opportunities to improve your practice as a teacher (assuming you are just starting your career).

      You are expected to be motivated and optimistic while being paid literal minimum wage.

      Pros

      The work of the company is rewarding, and you know you're making a difference. Also, participating in the different trainings and adjusting to the expectations of the company is guaranteed you make you grow as a person.

      Cons

      The program was extremely disorganized on a day by day basis, the expectations for fellows were extremely high, and the pay was very low. While I generally enjoyed the leadership members I met, it is clear that the company exploits those who care without much support. I had to immediately enroll in food stamps to survive this role financially. If you have options to teach with an actual school district, I would highly recommend that.
