      Benefits suck outside of the new paid family leave.

      Pros

      If you have a clearance, good job security. If your contract ends, the company is good about finding other opportunities.

      Cons

      Pay is somewhat below market. Normal large corporation bureaucracy. Your experience (good or bad) is largely dependent on your contract and PM.

      Contracting position has minimal managerial oversight.

      Cons

      - Benefits are just fine. Nothing spectacular. - No idea what corporate does. No idea what middle to upper management is doing. - IT hardware and software are awful.
