      Not what it use to be

      Pros

      Saic use to be a great place to work. They cared about the employees until they went public and then it went downhill from there.

      Cons

      Relocated headquarters to east coast and slowly moved majority positions in U.S. To east coast. Have been applying for jobs that I most definately qualify for and can't even get an interview even though they boast on their web site that former employees are an asset.

      Great company to work for because of all the benefits! They offer Medical, a Dental, 401k, etc.

      Pros

      I worked in project accounting and was miserable all the time! SAIC offers all the benefits but what good is it if you're coming to work afraid you're going to lose you job everyday!

      Cons

      The upper management in that department is terrible! Micromanaging at its finest as well as bi-polar traits. Work is endless and there's been so much turnover and the company doesn't do anything about it! This is a good company to work for but stay away from project accounting!!

      I have some of the best experts in my field working with me, and I have been in the IT world for over a decade.

      Cons

      Leadership/management incompetent, oblivious, and arrogant. Management is inexperienced, and forceful.
