People are great and the biggest reason for working at SAIC. You walk in the door and everyone respects SAIC, but that is because the people are hard working and do great work.

Cons

Like with most companies in Northern Virginia the communte to and from work takes up much of your time. SAIC has offices all over the country but your job may not be that close to home and you may have to travel between numerous job locations / offices during a given day / week. But again, this is the same with many companies. The real con's I found with SAIC were, (1), they did not use a commercial CRM which is what I would have preferred, (2) they did not share all of their marketing information across the company, which I found quite unbelievable and self defeating, and (3), like many large companies, while not competing directly with another part of the company, the different divisions often did not work together to win programs (or worse).
