      •Lack of recognition or compensation for senior experience and advanced certifications. •Unfair pay parity, as higher-qualified employees earn the same as less experienced ones. •Management’s unwillingness to relieve employees from overwhelming responsibilities when requested. •Poor handling of employee well-being and work-life balance during stressful periods.

      Working for SAIC

      Pros

      SAIC is the largest federal government IT contractor from what I understand. It's shows from the beginning of employment. They are very organized and have a lot of resources for their employees. 2k for self training reimbursement and more. The upper management really cares about the people's wellbeing. When people are sick or lose a loved one they will go well out of their way to work with you. Upward mobility is good but it could be better.

      Cons

      Investigating their employees is something they do a lot. Many of my hard working friends have lost their jobs due to the many investigations they do on us. One lost his job because he put down he was done with his BA but was actually doing the very last class of the BA. Someone else lost their job because of something petty like that too. Other contractor over the same contract understood and worked with them same exact employee type.
