Pros

Large company that makes efforts to feel close nit Many different contracts to work on Transit subsidy

Cons

Mainly defense contractor, if working in a different field growth potential is limited If job requires you to work on-site with the customer you loose contact with the company Few holidays and little vacation time.

Pros

Management is easy to get ahold of. the 401K has a better match than Lockheed, despite needing to stay for at least 5 years in order to keep all of the company match.

Cons

Sometimes you realize the guy sitting next to you has way less experience, has an unrelated degree than the field they are working in, has constant poor performance, but is making 20K more. Gives me a bad taste in my mouth It is hard to convince management to give you a raise, and the hiring managers/recruiters are deceptive.

Pros

--Nice benefits --Free online courses, books, and certification training through company website (Good for Tech/IT) --Leadership program available --Name recognition within the industry

Cons

If you work on a government site you're disconnected from a lot of what happens on the corporate side. Contracts can change/end abruptly.
