Pros

SAIC tries to cover employees when contracts expire. They do both government and commercial contracts which makes it easier to get experience in both areas.

Cons

Too bad they got rid of it being employee owned. The stock has been languishing between 15 and 20 since they went public.

Pros

I was quickly given the opportunity to interact with and travel independently to meet with clients for projects, which was appreciated. Stock option and other benefits were good.

Cons

Problems keeping busy when work was low, since you can only get paid for billable projects (i.e. no overhead or "beach" hours are available)

Pros

Outstanding managers who know there stuff and take care of employees as a primary focus. Most projects save US lives.

Cons

Large company means many geographic locations around the world. This offers great opportunities but may require relocation to gain advancement
