      Pros

      Pros are; -Excellent pay -Great flexibility -Good training / academic benefits -Good healt benefits -They will find a place for you should the contract end -Good work/life balance

      Cons

      -There is no definitive path for advancement, you have to eat what you kill -Many of the contracts are long standing and once you become an integral part of one its hard to get out / get on another project -Much of the senior management has no experience working anywhere but SAIC

      Pros

      Mentor/Immediate supervisor was very hands on and willing to offer advice, direction, and knowledge. Hourly rate for the internship was higher than others in the industry that I spoke with.

      Cons

      Project Manager was at times vague in assigning tasks and was not very eager to provide additional direction later on. I enjoy working independently but it got to the point to where I was apprehensive to ask questions as I encountered unforeseen obstacles associated with the task.

      Pros

      - Good salary and staff (not just management) qualifies for cash and stock bonuses. - Exciting programs. - SAIC looks good on your resume.

      Cons

      - Poor benefits, to include expensive healthcare premiums and 5 year vesting for 401(k) contributions. - Management is unwilling to invest in their employees and it's difficult to get the company to sponsor training classes or reimburse for tuition.
