      Pros

      No wait time for benefits, health vision and dental have a couple of different price points and the cheaper one is quite affordable but it is a high deductible health plan Ability to buy and sell up to 40 hours time off Average pay for the position Moderate workload

      Cons

      Annoying processes with time keeping such as asking you to correct a timesheet from 3-4 months ago to change a charge code. Needed a secret clearance so the background check did take a while Mandatory quarterly meetings with no substance aside from the status of the contract Not a lot of opportunities in local area (most opportunities are in DMV area since they have lots of gov/DoD clients)

      Pros

      Rock Solid benefits due to how huge the company is. I only ever dealt with like 2 people at SAIC periodically. I think if you get a good manager, that's all that really counts towards your perception of SAIC. We had a good manager. They also have a huge library of free courses you can take. They also were kind enough to pay for my SCRUM certification by incorporating it into our work and adding it as a requirement for the position.

      Cons

      The ISSAIC portal needs a lot of improvement, Thats about it. But I am biased because I am a web developer.
