Horrible management

Marine mammal trainer

Pros

The animals are amazing and you get to work them from basically day one.

Cons

Injury insurance company is pathetic! Management is even worse! SAIC does not give one care to the marine mammal program when it comes to the trainers. Pay is not worth the damage you will take from working this job. Job isnt worth it and we help protect the nation.

Pros

Work expectations are normal. They are generally willing to take on people with less experience. It's a generic contractor. It's good experience for a entry to mid level IT job. I'm not sure they even expect anyone to stick around and they won't hold it against you when you grow out of their job. Don't expect a career, but it can certainly help you build one if you play it right.

Cons

Pay is low and they are resistant and smug about increases. Contracts come and go and so do employees.
