Pros

Ok benefits Flexibility in schedule Location Ok salary

Cons

Had to go through some HR actions in the past to bring salaries up to industry standards. No severence even after 20 yrs. Large company bureaucracy. Too much dependence on Department of Defense No $ to spend on R&D Divisions and groups unaware of capabilities of other divisions and groups - no communication Too much 'at will' employment to work particular contacts. This leads to uncertainty and lay offs when contracts end. At the mercy of bad management. New senior management bent on replacing longevity with new blood. No value given to corporate knowlege or experience.

Pros

Offers projects that are cutting edge and have technical challenge. The company thrives on creating and maintaining goods relationships with customers.

Cons

Very little help to find coverage within the company when your current project winds down. You need to help yourself and cultivate good relationships outside your department in order to maintain coverage over the long-term.

Pros

Pay is fairly well comparably

Cons

- Benefit package poor (In orderr to maintain low cost, Company is offering employees a choice of Health and Dental plan, or 401K, but not both. Sort of depressing that a once great company going down) - No Employee Care (Pink slip 30days before job ends. It used to be the managers take care of the employees and moved to another contract at the end of the period, but now, to save costs and overhead, great employees are just "let go") - Since going Public all about Profit
