      Large Company provides opportunity Can work with Autonomy

      Cons

      Direct managers don't know you if you are not at headquarters and that makes it tough to get a raise other than the 3% that is not covering the increase in the cost of living

      Pros

      Lots of benefits; They do everything possible to retain employees.

      Cons

      Typical government contracting company in that there is very little budget for innovation or R&D type projects. Budgets are pretty much limited to the active contracts.

      Pros

      Benefits, outstanding work life balance.

      Cons

      I work on the Program level so I feel very disconnected from SAIC. I don't find that there is much opportunities for growth within the company, unless you move programs but even then it's not guaranteed that program will bring you on. Additionally, if you don't negotiate your salary higher at the beginning, then you will continue to be stagnant.
