Pros

SAIC has contracts start and end. They try their best to place you on overhead work until another contract starts. This may have little to do with your core skills.

Cons

There is always the notion when your contract ends you may be looking for work.

Pros

Relationship with co-workers and management is among the best I have ever seen. The benefit package is top notch. This is a company that you can stay with long term and have stability despite the nature of contract work.

Cons

If you get bored easily some of the contracts may not be for you. Especially in a government related role work can be scarce. The pay is not as high as working for a company who is not supporting a government organization.
