      It's a job They love people who have already possess active security clearance They love feeding from the public trough (i.e., Defense Contracts)

      Cheapskates Forget about what your market worth Meaningless assignments You're nothing more than a billable body They love feeding from the public trough (i.e., Defense Contracts)--which means you get no pay when the Tea-Party Republicans shut-down the government Two different SAIC employees mislead and lie about job offers

      SAIC started out as a "science" company, but that's long gone, so no PROs!

      Cons

      1) Company is an overgrown body shop. 2) Company AGGRESSIVELY blacklists former employees to other companies. 3) Your job lasts as long as your contract unless you are VERY well connected. 4) Company has a poor image due to poor management.

      The worst professional experience ever.

      The salary was appropriate for the level of experience and credentials. Fair.

      Cons

      Poor Management. No organization. Once hired, there was absolutely no direction in my role/support on the team. For 3 months I did absolutely NOTHING! I was hired to support a specific project but it never happened. I was also told during the interview the project was for good 3 years. The manager ended up leaving company and then the project was cancelled after 9 months.
