Pros

Decent pay, decent benefits, great low-level management

Cons

Benefits are only just decent. SAIC does nothing to make you feel valued. Everything feels like an effort to make them the extra buck, even at your expense.

Pros

Great support system for employees. Capacity to redeploy contributors and not simply disengage if client relationships change.

Cons

Challenge to feel part of the culture when immersed in the client environment.

Pros

Opportunities to learn from many talented people. Amongst other benefits, there is education reimbursement which can be used for code camps (varies).

Cons

The corporate feeling of being another number is sometimes uneasy. I suppose this is common in most contractor companies.
