Pros

There are a LOT of people who have worked here a long time - you'll find that the level of knowledge in any one subject is VERY deep because there are teams of people who've been working in a similar part of an industry for a very long time. There's also a very real effort made to find coverage for existing employees if they are losing coverage on another project.

Cons

It's a very big company, so it's sometimes a bit difficult to be extremely agile, and make things happen quickly.

SAIC is a very stable and reliable company to work for. The business is always in need. Great benefits packages. Company stock purchase plans. Lots of choices for medical insurance. Flexible time-off.

Cons

Annual review raises and bonuses don't keep up with rate of inflation.

Pros

Its always been a stable company. During my tenor when the market was down SAI stock was up or stable. There is plenty of work and the company continues to grow. Senior management have a keen since as to what the future holds and how the company can continue to remain competitive.

Cons

Sometimes there is more work than available resources so it is not uncommon to work extra unpaid hours. There is not alot of team building experiences.
