Pros

SAIC pays for tuition reimbursement, training, and certifications. Their company structure allows for more personal interaction with corporate than other companies I've worked for. Medical benefits are decent. They genuinely try to keep current employees by finding another position for them when a contract ends.

Cons

Insurance premiums have increased quite a bit over the last few years, but probably not as bad as with other comparable companies. Upward mobility is difficult from customer locations due to small number of workers at a given location.

Flexibility, positions available in many locations, good team environment, ability to obtain clearance, recognizable company, good benefits, flex scheduling for work hours

Cons

Mostly contract work w/ limited growth within same team, contracts can limit salary possibilities, may have to relocate to advance or obtain a better opportunity within the company
