Generally good worker bees, sometimes interesting work, terrible corporate Bureaucracy, mediocre upper management.

Pros

Good benefits, reasonably good pay, some interesting work, good job security (highly dependent on your business unit), many good lower level workers

Cons

The bureaucracy is often stifling and upper management is so risk averse (or lazy) that it's impossible to get any new, interesting work started.

SAIC is a pretty good company, but has a lot of room for developing into a Great Company.

SAIC is a well-known company in the Defense Industry. SAIC Employees are respected for their Techincal knowledge and expertise.

Cons

As with many large companies, you are just another number, that is unless you are a Business Unit Manager.
